Rotate Your Eggs

Deliberating avoiding the to do list I
wandered down to the coop to collect the eggs. It was after hours but
Dorthy was clocking into overtime. As she carefully rotated her eggs
I thought, they will be nothing but breakfast, but she had a dream.
There is kind of a lesson in this, where there is a dream, there is
the energy to go on with a smile. Even if it's a long shot, rotate
your eggs!

The announcement was made, Too busy watching the tortilla run I missed it. RIP Peanut! So happy she got the lions share on her last day with us. I don't have the heart to keep them penned up all the time, I will have to round them up earlier and put the big dog Mack on duty:'(

The Noodle Incident! Eeny Ties Marjorie's Beak Shut

In a bold move Eeny, (of the Eeny, Meeny, and sadly no more Miny or Moe demise.) ties Marjorie's beak shut! This solves two problems, one, it stops her endless cackling and two, keeps her from slurping up all the noodles! Eeny has come a long way from the day when her poor scrawny neck was nearly pecked clean! Sweet revenge!!!
